At Nature’s Way Montessori, we honor each child’s individuality and help them discover how they can meaningfully contribute to the world around them. We believe children are naturally curious and intrinsically motivated to learn. By offering carefully prepared environments guided by loving, well-trained adults, we nurture this innate drive. Our Vision for the Child
We guide children toward becoming independent thinkers who are internally motivated, self-disciplined, and deeply engaged in learning. We cultivate collaboration, empathy, and a reverence for all living things, recognizing that we are interconnected and responsible for one another.
History of Nature’s Way Montessori
Nature’s Way Montessori was founded in 2013 on a one-acre campus in Napa, transforming a traditional preschool site into a thoughtfully prepared Montessori environment. The school opened with 15 children and quickly grew, adding Toddler, Primary and Elementary classrooms to meet strong community demand. From the beginning, the vision centered on respect for the child, connection to nature, and a commitment to authentic Montessori practice.
During Covid, NWM lost all it’s teachers and the school created a new vision. Infant classrooms were formed, deepening its commitment to serving children during the most formative years of life. Today, Nature’s Way Montessori serves children from infancy through Kindergarten as a thriving, nature-based community. With strong family partnership and a dedicated team of educators, the school continues to provide meaningful early experiences that lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
